Daniel Verdon - Shoulder Physiothreapist
Dan graduated in 2010 from La Trobe University in Melbourne and has since been nurturing a special interest in shoulder pathology. He has recently joined the Melbourne Shoulder Group with colleagues Lyn Watson, Simon Balster, Ross Lenssen, Sarah Warby, and Kat Davis and continues to pursue his interest with the guidance of leading shoulder physiotherapists on his path to specialisation. In addition to this, Dan is completing his Master of Sports Physiotherapy in his commitment to lifelong learning.
Since graduating Dan has been working in private practice, improving the lives of his clients through patient-specific management of shoulder issues, posture related problems, sporting injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. His patients have ranged from elite athletes, weekend warriors, desk workers, paediatrics, and seniors. Dan also practices out of Camberwell under the role of ‘Clinical Mentor’ where he treats patients and tutors fellow physiotherapists.
Dan works alongside leading shoulder orthopaedic surgeons at the Melbourne Orthopaedic Group and assists with tutoring at Level 1 and 2 Lyn Watson Shoulder courses.
Dan is a strong believer in empowerment through education, empathy driven rehabilitation, and holistic care.
