How much does Physiotherapy cost?
Costs vary depending on the physiotherapist that will be treating you. This is due to the different qualifications and levels of experience of our staff. Please phone one of our friendly receptionists to get a price guide. All consultations must be paid for on the day.
What if I have Private Health Insurance?
We have a HICAPS available for clients who wish to claim at the time of treatment. We can claim on your behalf at the point of service. . If you wish to know how much you will be out of pocket on the day, you will need to contact your health fund (it is often a percentage of cost and this varies between funds with a maximum per year limit)
How long is a Physiotherapy appointment?
This can vary depending on the experience of the clinician - as a guideline an intial consult may last 30-40mins depending on severity
What if I have a new or existing Work Cover or TAC claim?
Prahran Sports Medicine is a private billing clinic. You will need to provide all your claim information to reception and they will give you a itemised receipt after every consult with all the information you need to submit onto your relevant insurer.
However some of our clinicians do offer a "no out of pocket expense" consultation. If you are interested in this service please mention this when making the appointment and bring all relevant paper work from your insurance company for this option to be available at your consultation.
