Matt is the Director of Podiatry at Lifecare Prahran Sports Medicine who has specialised in musculoskeletal medicine and biomechanics for over 25 years. A qualified Sports Podiatrist, Matt has a Bachelor of Science in Podiatry and has offered his expertise to Melbourne, Western Bulldogs and the St Kilda Football clubs, Melbourne Victory F.C and the Victorian Cricket team. Matt offers his expertise to people / athletes of all ages with foot or leg pain, or those who have sustained complex foot trauma due to motor vehicle trauma, work place accidents or other mishaps
Rick has been a Podiatrist specializing in musculoskeletal problems of the foot and lower limb since 1999 from the fitness & sporting arena through to injury rehabilitation and workplace environments. He is the Podiatrist for the St Kilda Football Club (AFL), consultant Podiatrist for the Melbourne Rebels (ARU), former founder of speciality running retail stores, and consultant to the footwear and sports technology industry. Rick is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association, Sports Medicine Australia and has further qualifications in Applied Science.
Emma is an experienced podiatrist and has been a member of the Lifecare Podiatry team since 2006. Emma has a Bachelor of Podiatry from La Trobe University and has a Master of Health Specialisation (Podiatric Medicine). Emma’s clinical practice specializes in biomechanics, sports medicine and injury management, running and football. Junior athletes, paediatric athletes, are also a clinical interest after Emma completed her Masters with specific paediatric sport and biomechanical components. Emma also consults on all common foot complaints such as heel and arch pain, extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT), nail conditions and surgeries, diabetic assessments, and orthotic therapy.
